Motion Bro 5 – New Features for Premiere Pro and After Effects

In previous versions of Motion Bro, you had to open the preset’s composition or sequence, find the master layer with the settings, and then use the standard cumbersome Effect Controls panel to customize presets.

In the new version, you just need to select the preset layer on the timeline and click “Select Clip”. Now, you can customize the preset and all related text layers directly in the plugin panel, where nothing is superfluous.

Copy & Paste Mode

In Premiere Pro, Adobe developers didn’t provide a way to copy properties from one Mogrt clip and paste them into another. For this reason, you had to manually reapply color or text adjustments each time for the following clip.

With the Motion Bro plugin, you can bypass that limitation and copy properties from one Mogrt clip to another. Just enable Copy & Paste mode and choose which properties to copy.

I note that the “Edit” panel, including Copy & Paste mode, isn’t limited to Motion Bro presets. It works with any layers on your timeline, making it a versatile tool for everyday customization tasks.

3D Import for Premiere Pro

For the previous version of my plugin, I released add-ons that allow you to import 3D models and 3D images directly into Premiere Pro without any third-party plugins. However, the interface into add-ons wasn’t user-friendly, which could lead to some issues. In the new version, I’ve made the interface more intuitive.

Batch Installation

In the previous 4th version of the Motion Bro plugin, you had to install preset packs one by one, waiting for the installation to complete over and over again to activate the next pack. It was pretty painful, especially when installing bundles containing several dozen packages.

Now, you don’t have to install all the packages individually. Just drag and drop all the packages into the plugin and wait for the installation to complete.
