Due to internal limitations of Premiere Pro, the import script cannot always determine the root directory of the current project to correctly import preset files. If an error occurs during preset import, make sure that the current project panel is open. To do this, you can try the following:
- On the timeline panel, right-click the name of the current sequence.
- In the context menu, select “Reveal Sequence in Project”.
If the issue persists, ensure that the panel displays the root directory “Project: [Project Name]” rather than “Bin: [Bin Name]”.
