Adaptive resolution

The transitions support any resolution for your project, from the minimum up to full 4K, and are fully resizable to work with any aspect ratio, including portrait 9:16.

These transitions are especially effective in portrait orientation and are ideal for creating engaging Reels and Shorts, offering seamless integration and dynamic visual effects tailored to short-form content.

Primary settings

Before applying transitions, you can adjust the six main parameters, each with multiple intensity levels, allowing flexible control over the visual effects to match your creative concept.

SHAKE
introduces dynamic camera shake effects that add energy and movement to transitions. It enhances impact and immersion, making footage feel more engaging. With five settings: BREEZE, WAVE, STORM, SHOCK, RANDOM, you can control the shake intensity, from subtle to chaotic.

BLUR
softens the edges of your videos, creating a smooth and seamless blend between two video clips. This helps avoid harsh boundaries and makes transitions more organic and natural.

FADE
darkens the video under the transition area, increasing contrast and highlighting light elements. It can also be used in any lighting conditions to reduce the visibility of the seam between two video clips.

DISTORT
introduces dynamic distortions to video clips by utilizing a displacement map from the light footage. This creates a light refraction effect, making transitions more cinematic and visually impactful.

ABERRATION
adds an optical aberration effect to your video under the transition. After applying the transition, you can adjust two parameters: “shift” and “angle” to control the aberration effect.

FILM GRAIN
best used in videos that already feature grainy textures, but it can also be experimentally applied to footage without grain. This effect adds texture and stylistic character, giving transitions a retro film aesthetic.

These six primary settings can be modified in the Essential Graphics panel after applying the transitions, allowing for more precise and flexible customization of each option.

DURATION BAR
allows you to control the light transition time from 20% to 180%, with shorter settings creating fast, flash-like transitions and longer settings producing smooth, slow blends for a seamless effect.
