What is the difference between this bundle: https://motionbro.com/products/videolancers-transitions-for-after-effects/ and this bundle? Does this support the MotionBro Plug-in? How can I use this package? Thanks!
videolancer –
Hello, thanks for the feedback. All products provided on our site are compatible with the Motion Bro plugin. As for the mentioned “Videolancer’s Transitions” package, it differs in that these are so-called “cut transitions”, and the “Motion Bro Bundle” is a package of “overlap transitions”. Here is a small visual comparison of the two types of transitions: https://motionbro.com/help/solving-problems-with-overlap-transitions-for-after-effects/#differences-between-overlap-transitions-and-cut-transitions

Sooooo Sick!!!

It’s a little inconvenient to select footages on the timeline every time before applying the transition, in your old seamless transitions it was enough just to set time indicator. Either way, this is a great bundle, keep it up!
videolancer –
Thanks for the feedback. The legacy seamless transitions you mentioned (so-called “Cut transitions”) are a bit easier to use than the overlap transitions from this Bundle, but have a number of significant drawbacks, including visual ones. Here are some comparisons between legacy cut transitions and new overlap transitions: https://motionbro.com/help/solving-problems-with-overlap-transitions-for-after-effects/#differences-between-overlap-transitions-and-legacy-cut-transitions

Very good “update”, but still have some glitches in it.
+ overlap layers transition
+ new cool effects
+ no more out of GPU memory issues (like it was in 4K renders with older version)
– it is more complicated to replace transition footages due to MB4 use it in its own precomps to allow overlaping (I recommend to precomp all before use transitions)
– made a bit mess in project structure (in project window)
– very long and annoying instalation of all packages – you need to install it one by one..
videolancer –
Hello, thanks for the feedback.
Regarding replace MP4 – drop footage from the project panel onto footage in the timeline while holding down the ALT key and this replaces the footage both in the timeline and in the transition.
Regarding the “bit mess” in the project structure – unfortunately I did not quite understand what you mean. I would be very grateful if you record a video with the problem.
As for installing packages one by one, this, it seems to me, is a more rational option so that you install exactly what you need, and unnecessary packages would not take up extra disk space. This is especially actual for Premiere Pro, in which preset packs are up to 2 GB or more, and in total all these packs take up more than 20 GB.
